The terms and conditions set forth herein, apply to all orders placed on this
website. Any occurrences of the terms:
"PlantsandBulbs", "Plants and Bulbs", "our", "we", "us", "site" and "this website",
refers to PlantsandBulbs.co.uk. This website is owned and operated by
Daniel Stubbs. By placing an order on this website, you agree to and
fully accept these terms and conditions. By agreeing to these terms
and conditions, you are also agreeing to the terms and conditions set our in
our privacy policy. Your statutory rights are not affected by any
of these terms. Once we have dispatched your order, we have accepted your
order and enter into a contract with you to supply you with your chosen
product(s). Your contract for supply is with PlantsandBulbs.co.uk
(a division of DStubbs Sales, owned by Daniel Stubbs. Payments made via
PayPal or SagePay will reference PlantsandBulbs.co.uk and may also reference
the name Daniel Stubbs or DStubbs Sales.
Our Goals
PlantsandBulbs.co.uk is committed to supplying high quality seeds, bulbs,
plants and garden accessories. All our flower bulbs are excellent
quality; we import them direct from Holland
where they are grown to the highest standards. We also specialise
in perennial plants and grow these on from plug plants into 0.5L, 1L, & 2
Litre potted plants. All sizes are available to purchase
online. We package all products as carefully and as fully as
possible to ensure they arrive in the best condition possible.
Availability
We endeavour to be as accurate as possible on the website with regards to stock
availability and quantity availability. All products that are in
stock are available for immediate delivery. If the stock
appears as Pre-Order, this means the item is currently out of stock, but will
be back in stock in the future and can be pre-ordered for delivery.
The availability date is shown on the product page to give an indication of the
approximate date that the item will be back in stock and available for dispatch.
Your order may be dispatched before or after the date stated. Depending
on the product you order, this could be up to 9 months in the future, if you
have just missed the season end for that particular product. But
rest assured, we will deliver your item as soon as it becomes available.
We have a database of pre-orders awaiting dispatch, so please don’t worry, we
won’t forget you or lose your order, our reputation depends on it!
If we have made an error on the website and a product(s) has been priced incorrectly,
either directly or via a special offer promotion, we reserve the right to
cancel your order before we accept it. In these
circumstances, we will notify you by e-mail of the correct price for the
product(s) you have ordered and you will have the option to either pay the
difference, or cancel your order and receive a full refund. Once we
have dispatched your order, we have accepted your order and enter into a
contract with you to supply you with your chosen products. Your contract
for supply is with PlantsandBulbs.co.uk (a division of DStubbs Sales,
owned by Daniel Stubbs.
We often reduce the price of Seeds, Bulbs and Plants that are out of stock and
on pre-order, to encourage early sales for the coming season.
This helps us, because we have a better idea of the stock we need for the
coming season, and so we pass a saving on to you for helping us
out. Do not be surprised to see the price of a product increase as
it comes out of pre-order and back into stock. This is usually to
compensate for the fact that the price was at a discounted rate to attract
pre-order sales, but the price may also increase due to supply and demand when
our stock levels are low on any particular product. We
reserve the right to adjust our pricing and availability at any time.
If for some reason, we have made a mistake on the website and the product(s)
you have ordered are not available for instant purchase and delivery as
indicated, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of any stock
shortage and we will do our best to offer you similar products, or add you to
our pre-orders database, awaiting dispatch as soon as the product becomes
available again. Of course, you will also have the option to cancel your
order and receive a full refund instead, if you prefer.
Multiple Quantity Discounts
We offer multiple quantity discounts on most products, so the more you buy, the more you save. Discounts are only available on a per product basis, so you would need to order multiple items of the same product line, to get a multiple quantity discount. The discounts are automatically added, so you can be guaranteed of paying the best price per product for the quantity you have chosen. The Quantity and price bands are shown on the main product detail page. Simply click on the Title or image of any product on the website, to be taken to this main product detail page. Under the Unit Price you will see further pricing bands decreasing in price as the quantity of items increases. Please note, the price stated is per item. For example if a price of a product shows up as ?6.99, if you click on the image, it may show you:

This is the price you will pay for each plant, less any further discount codes you may be able to apply at the time of checkout. And don't forget its Free Delivery on all orders over £30.
Delivery
We only deliver to UK
addresses.
Our standard flat rate postage charge is £2.99. (To Most UK post codes)
Orders over £30 are delivered free of charge. (To Most UK post codes)
Due to the time taken to pick, care for, and wrap our orders we cannot at this
time offer a next day delivery service. We apologise for any
inconvenience caused by this.
Please note that due to the weight of some orders, certain UK Post codes may
incur an additional delivery charge. We will contact you after ordering,
if there is an additional postage fee to pay. This mainly applies to some
areas of the Scottish Highlands and UK
addresses off the UK
mainland (Channel Isles, Northern Ireland,
Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly,
Shetland, Orkney, Western Isles).
All products listed on the website with a stock availability greater than zero,
are available for immediate delivery. We try to maintain accurate stock
counts. We usually dispatch all in-stock products within 2 days of
ordering. We will send you a dispatch notification e-mail on the
day we dispatch your items. Your order should be with you within
1-2 after dispatch. Please allow 7 days from the date of ordering
before contacting us regarding an order that has not been received.
To prevent damage to your order, we may decide to delay dispatching your
products for one or two days, if we think your parcel could be held up in the
post over the weekend. This usually only applies to potted plants and
plug plant orders, as we want to get these to you as quickly as possible, once
boxed and dispatched. Your order may be dispatched in multiple
boxes and sent separately, if we deem it necessary. You will not be charged
extra for this. Your parcel will be cleared marked as 1 of 2 or 2 of 2
for example to indicate this fact. If you have ordered a range of out of
stock (Pre-Order) items, your order may be part-dispatched in different boxes
on different days, so you may receive your order gradually over
time. We have a database of pre-orders awaiting
dispatch, so please don’t worry, we won’t forget you or lose your order, our
reputation depends on it!
If you have any special delivery requirements, for example, If you need us to
include a short message on your parcel with instructions for the postman, then
please add a comment with your order in the delivery section of the checkout
pages or alternatively please e-mail us as soon as possible after ordering at
sales@PlantsandBulbs.co.uk Please note that we cannot
guarantee that your instructions will be added to the parcel or followed by the
person intended to follow them. You agree not to hold us
responsible for failure to add your instructions on your parcel or non-compliance
with your instructions. We cannot accept liability for non-delivery of items
for reasons such as: recipient not available; parcel not collected or address
not correct or accessible.
Pre-Orders
Pre-Order products are available on the website and are often sold at a
discounted rate to encourage pre-season sales. Prices may vary at any
time. If the product availability shows as ?Pre-Order?, this means the
item is currently out of stock, but will be back in stock in the future and can
be pre-ordered for delivery. The availability date is shown on the
product page to give an indication of the approximate date that the item will
be back in stock and available for dispatch. Your order may be dispatched

time. You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail, every time we
dispatch something out to you. We reserve the right to charge
additional postage fees for large pre-orders that require periodical dispatch.
You have the right to cancel your pre-order in
part or in full at any time, from the time you place the order on our website,
to up to 14 days after receipt of your products. If you decide to
cancel your pre-order before delivery has taken place, we will simply issue you
a full refund back onto the debit or credit card or to the PayPal account you
used during checkout. If you decide to cancel your pre-order after
delivery has taken place, you will need to return your products to us first,
before we can process you a full refund. In this instance you will
be liable for the return postage costs. Please initiate a return via our
returns system if you would like to do this. We reserve the right
to cancel and refund any pre-orders for any reason and at any time.
Plant Condition
While we do our best to ensure your plants are healthy when packed and are
packed securely and shipped quickly, with the delicate nature of posting a
living product, It is not uncommon for some discolouration of the foliage to
occur due to the fact that the plants have been in a dark place for a period of
time during transit, out of their natural environment without sunlight and
water. They may not be as vibrant and perky as a plant purchased
directly from the outside section of a garden centre. Please rest
assured however, that the plants will return to their normal, natural, healthy
state within a few days. Furthermore, if the plants arrive and
appear ?limp? and in a sorry state, please bear in mind they have been without
water during transit, and a good water should soon revive them. If your
plants do not perk up within 4 or 5 days, please contact us about your issue.
If you have ordered potted plants, when you receive your plants, give them some
water, without over-watering them, and leave them on a window ledge for a
couple of days to slowly recover from their journey before potting them on or
planting them out.
If you have ordered plug plants, when you receive your plants, get them in the
ground immediately or pot them up into a pot at least 5x the size of the plug,
immediately on receipt and give them some water, without over-watering them.
We would recommend that you prepare your pots, or planting area ahead of time
before your plants arrive, so that you can plant them immediately on receipt,
the plants will need to be dealt with quickly on receipt to avoid damage and
decay. Please ensure that you open your order immediately upon receipt as
they can sweat a little inside the box. Please read any instructions
provided carefully before planting.
We promise to supply you with good quality, healthy plants in prime
condition. However, it is your responsibility to ensure you follow any
associated instructions that may be provided with your products, Or if no
information is provided to do your research to establish the best way to grow
the product you have ordered and keep it alive and healthy. We
understand that when dealing with live plants that occasionally problems do
arise despite our mutual best efforts. Unfortunately, we cannot
issue refunds or replacement plants where you have failed in your
responsibility to nurture and care for your plants properly, which has caused
them to suffer or die. You agree not to hold us financially
responsible for any losses that occur as a result of your negligence. We
cannot accept responsibility for items that fail to grow due to extreme weather
conditions, or have been abused by over-watering or neglected by
under-watering.
Pricing and VAT
All the prices on this website are fully inclusive of any applicable VAT.
We reserve the right to adjust our prices at any time and without prior
notice. Currently, no VAT is applicable on any sales generated through
this website as we are not currently VAT registered. This is currently
due to trading under the VAT threshold. At this time, order totals do not
include VAT, no VAT is charged on any items sold on this website. We will
provide an invoice for you’re order, however it will not be a VAT
invoice. Please do not request a VAT invoice, because one cannot be
provided. Our VAT status may change in the future and
without notification. We reserve the right to immediately increase
our prices by 20% to cater for VAT should the need to register arise.
Affiliate Program Terms and conditions
If you have a website in our area of business and believe you can send us
quality traffic, we would love to have you onboard as one of our affiliate
marketers. We currently pay a generous 5% of the order value on all
sales you generate via your website. We will provide
you with a tracking code URL link, which will track all traffic and any
associated sales from your website.
Sponsored Links are allowed. We have no
restrictions on keyword use. Sales commissions are added to the affiliate
holders account immediately on order completion. Although, should a
problem arise with the order and it cannot be fulfilled, or the order is
cancelled or later returned by the customer, we reserve the right to cancel any
associated sales commission due to the affiliate account holder for the failed
sale.
Payments will be made within 30 days and thereafter once every thirty days,
where the affiliates account balance is over £50. You will need to
generate £50 in commission, before you receive any payment from
us. Payments can be made via cheque or PayPal.
Returns
If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us and we
will work with you to try to solve the problem. There is a
Returns section on the website, please fill in the return details and submit
your return. We will contact you as soon as we can and certainly
with 48 hours. In some instances we may be able to send replacement
products or issue you a full or part-refund. We offer an
industry leading 30 day money back guarantee. In order to claim your
money back in full, all products must be returned to us in full, before any
refund is issued. The buyer agrees full responsibility for any
associated return postage costs. Please use a tracked or recorded
delivery method when returning products for refund, return packages that go
missing in the post, will not be refunded. In accordance with the established
custom of the trade, you agree not to hold PlantsandBulbs.co.uk liable for more
than the actual amount paid for a particular product or order.
Cancellations
We have a legal obligation to give you a 14 day cancellation period for any
orders placed on this website. Please let us know via the
returns section of the website, if you would like to arrange to return your
products(s) under the cancellation policy. Assuming all products are
returned back in the same condition, you will receive a full refund.
In accordance with the established custom of the trade, you agree not to hold PlantsandBulbs.co.uk
liable for more than the actual amount paid for a particular product or order.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and
Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order
at any time up to 14 days after receipt. If you wish to cancel an order please
contact us via our returns section on the website within 14 days after
receipt. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in
your possession and they must be returned to us, promptly, well packaged and at
your own cost. We may be able arrange collection of larger items, but there
will be a charge for this service, but it will be charged at the same price we
pay for the collection service. We reserve the right to cancel any
order placed on this website and issue a full refund without prior notice for
any reason.
Online Payments
If you would like to place an order online with us you can checkout as a guest
or register for an account with us while placing your order.
Opening a account with us will reduce the amount of information you need to
fill in for subsequent orders, and will also enable you the view all previous
orders and keep track of your orders fully in our system. Also, by
becoming a customer, we have your e-mail details on file and may periodically
send out special offers and discount coupon codes. So it is worth
registering, if you intend to use us in the future. We do not store any
banking information, credit card details or PayPal account details for
you. As these go through pour 3rd party payment solutions providers.
We accept payments by PayPal. We also accept debit and credit cards via
SagePay. All transactions are carried out on 3rd party SagePay or PayPal
Servers. These servers are fully SSL secure, so please rest assured, your
personal banking details will be 100% secure. You will be taken
offsite briefly at the final stage of checkout, so that your order can be
processed securely by our payment partners. This is
completely normal and a lot of online retailers choose this option of 3rd party
offsite payment processing. It is a lot safer and easier to implement on
the website. We do not carry out any transactions on our website
directly. Once your payment has been approved, you will
automatically be re-directed back to PlantsandBulbs.co.uk for your order
confirmation. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation almost
immediately after placing your order and another e-mail notification once your
order has been shipped.

Here at PlantsandBulbs.co.uk we have several discount codes that are
permanently valid on the website, some are applied automatically and some have
to be manually entered in your shopping basket before you checkout.

When you have finished adding items to your basket, go to your shopping basket and you will see a coupon code section. Simply enter the discount code and you should see a verification notification in green at the top of the website if the code has been successfully applied, and you should see the discount applied to the final price of your shopping basket. If the notification at the top of the website is Red, the code has failed to apply, please check the spelling and make sure you are NOT using capital letters.

Gift Certificates (Gift Vouchers)
We sell gift certificates (gift vouchers) on the website. Please
see the Gift Certificates link at the bottom of the website, and fill in the
details for yourself and the gift receiver, and whether it?s a Birthday Gift,
Christmas Gift or General Gift. Once the order has been paid for,
we will automatically send an online gift voucher e-mail specifically designed
for Christmas, birthdays or General Gifts, to your chosen recipient via
e-mail. All gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be used
to purchase more gift vouchers. They can be used against the price of any
product listed on this website. We reserve the right to cancel any gift
certificates / vouchers codes at any time and without prior notice.
Endangered Species / Genetic Modification
We will not knowingly offer for sale any endangered plant species harvested from the wild or any genetically modified products.
